My Speaking Philosophy

What an audience wants to know

I understand that audiences want health and wellness speakers who understand their needs and interests, and who can speak to them conversationally in language that makes sense. This is especially important when it comes to speaking to groups about personal issues, and I make a point of having an informed but warm voice, and making sure to let audiences know that I understand the challenges they face. My talks aim to inform audiences about key strategies and current science that they can apply to their lives in simple and straightforward ways.

Your Event

How I can help

I am available to speak to small and midsize audiences on topics related to wellness, anxiety, parenting, and general mental health. As a seasoned therapist and teacher, I know how to reach people where they are and engage them in dialogue and learning. Understanding an audience, their interests, and the goals of an event are the key ways I create talks that are stimulating and useful. If you are interested in having a dynamic health and wellness speaker at your event, please contact me so we can discuss how I can help.

I have been an invited speaker at numerous International Leadership Retreats and Professional Organizations, a keynote speaker for the Women’s Intelligence Trust (WIT) conference in New York, the 2016 IFC Sustainability Exchange in Washington, DC, the 2014 Achieving Optimal Health Conference at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where I have spoken about anxiety, wellness, and facing life transitions with confidence. I have also spoken at local schools, organizations, and special events as well as on television and radio broadcasts highlighting anxiety management, mood regulation, and relationship health.
