About Our Practice

Clark Psychology Group is a boutique Washington DC psychology practice that helps clients with a variety of concerns including coping with anxiety, relationships, work and parenting stress.

Our office has been in the heart of vibrant Dupont Circle for almost 20 years. The location is easily accessible, located just steps above the South Dupont Metro exit, with plentiful street and garage parking, as well as reliable bus, taxi, and Uber service. We keep office hours Monday through Thursday 9AM – 5PM, and schedule appointments on the hour.

Helping Approach

We consider it a privilege be part of people’s decision to change, and understand the trust clients put in us to help. We are honored by this trust, and strive to build the kind of relationship that helps people feel supported, and also challenged to to take the risks necessary to grow. It is only through courage that we grow our confidence, and we view  confidence building as a key part of our work. Viewing ourselves as part therapist, part teacher, and part coach, we are fortunate to love what we do.

If you choose to work with us, it’s important to know that while we tailor our therapeutic approach to meet clients’ needs and goals, we also rely on our training and expertise. In our sessions we will use techniques designed to help you build a greater awareness into your world, that may involve teaching you how to better understand what you’re feeling, what those feelings mean, and releasing you from the internal judgment you might place on your feelings today. Our therapeutic style is collaborative and its effectiveness relies on mutual insights built in and between sessions.
