Alicia H Clark, PsyD PLLC

Licensed Psychologist Washington DC

Welcome

Being a licensed psychologist in Washington DC offers many opportunities to help people face life’s challenges with more confidence, work through patterns that may be in the way, and create more balance and joy.

Lots of people ask me about my philosophy of healing. To me its explained through these four broad tenants:

Courage

It is with courage that we face our fears, stretch towards growth, and build confidence and self-esteem.

Choice

The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. ~ William James

Momentum

Momentum takes hold when steps are so small that resistance is fooled.

Joy

Vulnerability and empathy are the foundation of all relationships – they pave the way for intimacy and joy.
