At its root, risk taking in relationships involves facing the fear of rejection. As social creatures, we thrive on connection and feeling loved, and are fundamentally threatened by its loss. The risk of rejection exists everywhere, even in love. And staying in touch with that danger may just be the secret to fueling passion in relationships.
